Must go to FON FON in Marseilles for the best bouillabaisse of Cote d’Azur
and an afternoon trip to St Paul de Vence up the hill.
We would suggest to pay a visit to:
- Oasis restaurant in La Napoule
- Le Mulin de Mougin restaurant in Mougin
- La Cave restaurant in Cannes centre
- Le Baoli on Le Croisette in Cannes (lounge Bar & Restaurant + disco)
If you staying in Terre Blanche, I am sure you will visit the Four Season Terre Blanche SPA & Golf ….a nice place
Terres Blanches is a great place to stay ! I know well the place and the management !
You will be very close to Fayence and I suggest you to have a lunch at Le Temps des Cerises in the village.
Marseille is really too far and do not deserve to drive 4 hours (both ways).
Le Moulin de Mougins has lost his chef LLORCA and does not deserve a stop.
I will recommend La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse (45 minutes from Fayence)
In Cannes have a lunch or dinnerat L’ANNEX beach (ask for Cathy or Mike, the owners)
In Mougins (my town) I recommend the Brasserie Mediterranee in the village.
An other nice place is PLAGE KELLER (On Cap d’Antibes) one of the nicest spot in the world for me.

La Mas de Pierre, Saint Paul- Chez Fuchs, Saint Trop.- Le Chèvre d’Or, Eze- Le Troubadour, Eze- L’Amandier de Mougins, Mougins-
Don’t go to Grasse…awful.
If you are going to Marseille I absolutely recommend you LE PETIT NICE.
The chef is Gerard Passedat and he does a special buillabesse!
If you like sushi and Japanese food and a restaurant with interesting ambience, try the Maya Bar in Monaco.

Zelos in Grimaldi forum is also a nice restaurant if you are seated on the terrace, food is good (not out of the ordinary though, but you get generous portions and service has always been good when I’ve had dinner there).
Mas provencal in Eze, amazing decor.
Baoli in Cannes. a must see.
Avenue 31 in Monaco.
Miramar beach and restaurant in Cannes, very nice food and crowd.
Palm Beach in Cannes, St Tropez style beach club, right on the Croisette
La Bastide Saint Antoine is my favourite one, for lunch, on the terrace, under the trees.
Go there for lunch, and take their fantastic and so affordable lunch menu at Eur 55 only!
Le Moulin is overrated – as well as grossly overpriced, and Plage Keller is truly magical.
Has been one of my favorite places for many years.
For Italian lovers… ristorante “Il Viaggio” one of the best Gastronomic Italian restaurants or maybe the best in Cannes – very close to Rue d’Antibes.
L’Amandier de Mougins, La Bastide St Antoine Plage Keller, indeed, to die for.
You will get lots of enjoyments out of your trip to Provence.
If u like truffles, Bruno in Lorgues is a must, only one everyday changing menu, every course with a lot of truffles
La Petite Maison – in Nice.
Good luck getting a table :-) you might have to wait until you get your table, but it’s worth the wait, the food (mainly truffles) is amazing!

If you ever chance to stay at Bastide de Marie at the base of Menerbes, a fantastic Domaine, the food is included in the rates. It’s absolutely my favourite place to eat in Provence. Most of the vegetables are grown on premises (season permitting!) or nearby, and the chef does wonders with with them.
Asita, try something special….in Les Baux de Provence called Restaurant Oustau De Baumaniere.
Amazing setting..incredible food.
For something different…Brunos near Lourges…the finest truffle restaurant in France.
I’ve been going for years to the Cote & Richard has recommended the best places so far :)
My fav. place ever is the ”Mas Provencal” in Eze as Sherif suggested, Amazing Risotto, Amazing decor :)
I did the mistake of driving to Marseille, its horrible horrible…. DONT GO.
There are plenty of places to go to & see:
Joseph for aperitifs in St. Tropez is lovely.. Actually most restaurants in Mougins are brilliant.
Also U Must eat at any of the little restaurants in Le Suquet in Cannes (sorry forgot the names).
Also, u must go to ‘La Pizza’ in the pedestrian area in Nice, i know its very commercial & full of tourists but their Pizza Aubergine is just Divine!!!!
Oh and if u are looking for a place to eat real late (after clubbing) go to la Fregate in Cannes, they close around 2am.
Saintrop.com, a pure exctasy of Saint Tropez.
