Restaurants: if you don’t want to spend too much, you may want to go down to the port.
Otherwise, I like Cafe de Paris at anytime during the day. Rampoldi is good for fish but again, expensive. However, there is Pulcinella and down that little road, you will find a nice Mexican as well.
Bars: It’s worth having a drink at Hotel Metropole just before dinner.
1) I also like the American Bar at the Hotel de Paris sometimes when they have jazz. Be sure to touch the horse’s golden foot at the entrance of the hotel and make a wish, because they say your wish will come true. Zelos (used to be called Zebra Square) is good for a drink. It also haas a restaurant but I think the atmosphere is much better than the food.
2) You can even go one floor below to Karement for a drink (fantastic view of the sea). From 11pm onwards, do drop by Sass cafe (again atmosphere is much better than food) as it’s a piano bar and you can also dance. I never tend to stay that late there because you do get ladies of the night (pardon the expression). A lot of people tend to go to Jimmy’z to dance afterwards. It’s mega expensive though so you may want to go with some people. Finally, you can have a drink before dinner at the Blue Gin bar at Monaco Bay Resort (next to the Meridien) or even Sea Lounge which is 45 minutes walk away at the Monaco Beach Club.
3) Monaco is an amazing place , we are always there for the parties , you should check out Jimmyz Club , they have the best parties ever….before u go there warm up at Zebra thats if there renovation is finished….if not try the Sass Cafe …..during the day relax at the Cafe de Paris…and if u have lots of time, u must go to Saint Tropez! thats the place to be in August.
Try also the Beef Bar! its the best steak place in Monaco.
