Comments and Advice from our Members:

We like le Michelangelo and Bastion in Antibes and le Tantra in Cannes. The Château de la Chèvre d’or in Eze must be nice as well. Baoli in Cannes. Everything about it is top notch. It is exceptionally beautiful and the food is divine! My mouth is watering just thinking about the truffle lobster risotto!

Le Cababon, Cap d’Ail, (ask for Thomas)
La Petite Maison, Nice
L’Auberge de Theo, Nice
African Queen, Beaulieu sur Mer

La Petit Maison in Nice.

Great Indian food – Hidden and Charming!
Derriere Le Cours Saleya
22 Rue de la Barillerie, Nice

In St. Paul de Vence, Colomb D’Or - best restaurant, reservation required valet parking

The colombe d’or is great we go there every easter sunday!

La Petite Maison is def the hottest spot in Nice, the owner’s name is Nicole, she’s a very special character, you’ll love or hate the place because of her…

Le Safari in Old Nice (Cours Saleya)

Sapore in Nice rue Bonaparte… simply delicious.

Gallerie des Arcades in Biot. One of the best kept secrets on the Cote D’Azur.

If you wanna a good adresses in the Luberon:
La Feniere Reine Sammut
Route de Cadenet, Lourmarin

Galerie des Arcades in Biot is a nice suggestion indeed. I have not been there for about 4 years.

Comments and Advice from our Members:

Must go to FON FON in Marseilles for the best bouillabaisse of Cote d’Azur
and an afternoon trip to St Paul de Vence up the hill.

We would suggest to pay a visit to:
- Oasis restaurant in La Napoule
- Le Mulin de Mougin restaurant in Mougin
- La Cave restaurant in Cannes centre
- Le Baoli on Le Croisette in Cannes (lounge Bar & Restaurant + disco)

If you staying in Terre Blanche, I am sure you will visit the Four Season Terre Blanche SPA & Golf ….a nice place

Terres Blanches is a great place to stay ! I know well the place and the management !
You will be very close to Fayence and I suggest you to have a lunch at Le Temps des Cerises in the village.

Marseille is really too far and do not deserve to drive 4 hours (both ways).
Le Moulin de Mougins has lost his chef LLORCA and does not deserve a stop.
I will recommend La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse (45 minutes from Fayence)
In Cannes have a lunch or dinnerat L’ANNEX beach (ask for Cathy or Mike, the owners)
In Mougins (my town) I recommend the Brasserie Mediterranee in the village.
An other nice place is PLAGE KELLER (On Cap d’Antibes) one of the nicest spot in the world for me.

french-coast

La Mas de Pierre, Saint Paul- Chez Fuchs, Saint Trop.- Le Chèvre d’Or, Eze- Le Troubadour, Eze- L’Amandier de Mougins, Mougins-
Don’t go to Grasse…awful.

If you are going to Marseille I absolutely recommend you LE PETIT NICE.

The chef is Gerard Passedat and he does a special buillabesse!

If you like sushi and Japanese food and a restaurant with interesting ambience, try the Maya Bar in Monaco.

Good food,nice people,many celebrities :-)

Best place in St.Tropez – nice people, great food

It’s a classic. I’ve gone there for about 30 years, i.e. since my parents had to carry me. Consistency, quality of the food and sheer provencal beauty of the place are striking, but I guess the best aspect is how outrageously glamourous it can be, without trying to at all. It’s a place of understated elegance.
