Our love affair with France is passionate and enduring and it really does have something for everyone, atoll times of the year. Its Riviera remains a glamorous escape from the British climate, while Paris needs lithe introduction and is a popular choice for a city break at anytime, Highlights include a stroll along Los Champs Elysees, a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower and a potter around Montmartre on o Sunday morning.

On the Còte d’Azur, beautiful bays of azure blue waters provide the backdrop for the attractive seaside resorts which compete for attention with hidden medieval villages.

Meanwhile, the independent principality of Monaco benefits from an excellent year-round climate and Its capital, the glamorous Monte-Carlo, is famous for its luxury yacht-studded harbour. An exquisite emerald set amidst soaring cliffs dropping down to bays of azure-blue waters, medieval villages and the ski trails of the Alps, Monaco adores the arts, culture, cuisine and rather more high adrenaline activities such as the Formula One Grand Prix and casino gaming.

The Metropole Hotel in Monaco, impeccable!

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Comments and Advices from our Guest:

1) Top notch! I choose the Metropolitain for a 2 night visit during our honeymoon, because what stood out on this forum compared to the other Top Hotels was the helpfulness of the staff.

I am glad I did: my wife and I had the most amazing stay in this beautiful hotel where the service is indeed impeccable. I would recommend both restaurants and also the ESPA which is truly amazing. We did a day’s “Spa Ritual” for couples where you get your own suite for the day – this was just a fantastic experience!!

2) One of a kind service, by far the best hotel in Monaco

3) Good Hotel in Monaco. The staff is attentive except few young trainees that got several times in panic due to simple requests. The food in both restaurants of the hotel was very good and the position of the hotel is very convenient. The only thing we disliked was the view of the room (just in front of a building) and the room service breakfast. The rest was almost perfect.

Comments and Advices from our Guest:

1) Marvellous property, breathtaking view, decent food and pleasant service.

2) Yes, in case you love Disney World (I do!!!) you’ll love it! Great view! No children in summer (prohibited).

3) Welcome to disneyland !

4) The Best Hotel in Saint Tropez

5) Great pool and view of st tropez. grounds are very pretty. a little far from downtown but, the shuttle service provided makes it easy. note, the service/rooms are not at the 5 star quality that you are paying for!

6) Spacious rooms, 3 breathtaking views (the port, the beaches & the Pine Hills), 5 min away from the port or Nikki beach. Beautiful private gardens & a lovely pool! A St Tropez must!

7) Beautiful property and gardens, very nice view, great swimming pool, efficient shuttle service to town and beaches, you get what you pay for. restaurant is expensive.

8) Nice view, beautiful hotelw/ shuttle service to place des lyces. Expensive though.

Comments and Advices from our Guest:

1) Go there and check out the “Les caves du roi” disco (part of the hotel). Probably the best disco in the world. We go there every year to the eastern-opening-party! Excellent! And: don’t miss the “Villa Romana”!

2) Vulgar and filled with uneducated people!
Cheesy rooms and kitsch atmosphere…
If you’re a nouveau riche, go there to show off and tell your friends you stayed at the Byblos, or just cut them a check in the same amount and stay home!!
Nice club though…Not like the Byblos…

3) Unforgettable…

4) Completely overrated…loads of highly embarassing, vulgar, classless new rich Russians, etc…oh and I m allowed to say that since I am Russian myself!

5) Over rated

6) The Best!

Comments and Advices from our Guest:

1) Before to know Saintrop.com, I have reserved trough a different web site with a very interesting low rate. When I arrived to the Carlton in Cannes the rooms was very small, they sent us to park our car also on the street because the parking is full, and after a big scandal because we couldn’t enter in the room wit our luggage (it was just too small) they upgrade us to a suite…after this everything was perfect….

So I learned to avoid strange offers! I love saintrop.com now.
Anyway, I still choose Martinez every time i go to Cannes, I feel better there.

2) Hotel dépassé, chambre ridiculement petite. Personnel ne se prenant pas pour des queues de cerises.

3) Very beautiful. Excellent like in his story.

4) Have u seen the crowd in August?? No no i am not talking about our beloved arab friends but the pros******s that just hang out all around the lobby all night?? That is vile! I wish they just wouldnt let them in like in Geroge V!

5) Nice hotel. Specially at the moment as it has wonderful oriental nights , and a beautiful exhibition of the worlds best Persian Rugs. Very interesting and nice to see…

The Majestic in Cannes, a very charming hotel.

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

Comments and Advices from our Guest:

1) The Majestic was recently appointed as a new member to the Leading Hotels of the World, and after experiencing its consistent standard and amazing hospitality I can completely see why. I am never usually one to write reviews but after my stay I felt compelled to share my experience.

I will definitley be back once the full renovation is complete.

2) I stayed in the Majestic in mid-August for a week, and i have to say that it was absolutely faultless the whole way through. When we arrived the gentleman at the front desk gave us an upgrade to an amazing suite overlooking the La Croisette and the Riviera, the décor and feel of the room was chic and very homely with excellent modern features and amenities throughout.

It was my first time staying in Cannes, and I have to commend ALL the staff on how helpful and professional they were. The standard was never let down. The location was excellent and very convenient to get to the modern side as well the charming old town.
